The Berner architect and passionate conservationist Corinne Itten has an ambitious plan: to protect the wildlife in the Kalahari desert she is launching a sustainable tourism project with her privately established foundation Comanis. The concept is developed with the Bushmen in order to offer an economic alternative to the recently banned hunting. Although Corinne already has a lot of experience with animal welfare projects, she now enters a completely new terrain by trying to win the favour of the Botswana villagers.
